Young Church
Young church (Young People in School Year 7 and above) meet on the 4th Sunday of the month (except special Sunday Services)
Young Church (Children aged 5 years to School Year 6) meet on the 2nd or 3rd Sunday of the month (except special Sunday services). We are currently using ‘Roots’ a lectionary based resource.
Children and young people leave for their activities near the beginning of the service and return during the distribution of Communion.
Communion before Confirmation
In accordance with Church of England practice, we admit children over six years to Communion following a course of preparation. The current course we are using is ‘Welcome to the Lord’s Table’. Children are baptised (if not already) and admitted to Communion on Easter Sunday. This course will run in January 2026.
Confirmation
We run a confirmation course each year for young people and adults which ties in with either a Sutton Deanery Confirmation Service or a Confirmation service at Southwark Cathedral.
Curious about Christianity?
We are running a 6 week introduction to Christianity of one hour sessions called ‘Start’ from Leading Your Church into Growth. Each session has short videos and time for discussion. Dates of our next course will appear here
